Night out in BostonA married couple went into
Boston
for dinner last Saturday night. They’d been planning this for years but never
got around to it. “We hate to sound so suburban,” said the wife, “but it’s just
so far away.” Her husband agreed to dinner but not to a movie, saying “It’s
just too much to do a late show, especially with subtitles.” They plan to try
again next year on their wedding anniversary, weather permitting.
High honors and high five!
John Doe made the high honor roll this semester, but his twin
brother James did not. Mr. and Mrs. Doe of Walnut
Street send a big thumbs up to both and want them
to know they love them equally. James is being tutored twice a week and we’re
rooting for him for next semester. You can do it, James!
Get your Greyote Crunchies!
Local girl scouts will be selling homemade dog biscuits (called Greyote Crunchies!) to
benefit the Greyote Rescue League. Look for their booth at the Village Fair on
December 5, right next to the cheese and clam chowder stand. And stay tuned for
news about the upcoming Greyote Gala (date T.B.A.), a charity wine-tasting and
auction event not to be missed. Get out those dancing shoes!
